Admission

  • Residents or co-signers must demonstrate the ability to meet financial requirements.

  • Residents must be employed within 30 days of arrival.

  • Enrollment can be secured with a payment for one month plus security deposit.

  • Bedrock maintains an exceptionally clean, comfortable and safe household at all times.

  • Clear policy violations such as violence, property damage, abuse of any kind, substance use or theft are not tolerated.

Program Features

  • Our 4-phase program lays a rock-solid foundation - providing structure, accountability and coaching.

  • A customized and detailed action plan enables continuous tracking, coaching and support.

  • New residents will meet with their guides upon arrival and create an initial version of their action plan.

  • All plans include:

    • morning prayer/meditation

    • four 12-step or clinical therapy sessions weekly

    • actively working the 12-steps with a sponsor

    • reading, writing and sharing teachings from the 12-step solution

    • weekly, private coaching and accountability sessions

    • weekly house meeting

    • nightly review

  • Plans will be customized according to individual needs, circumstances and schedules.

  • Progress reporting can be made available to family, therapists or others by member consent.

Accountability Assistance

  • Residents must abide by house rules and their customized recovery action plan. A private accountability meeting will be held with each resident at a set time every week to review progress and set action goals for the upcoming week.

  • All plans include morning meditation, four weekly meetings, a weekly house meeting, actively working the 12 steps with a sponsor, keeping personal areas neat and clean, designated chores, appropriate community behavior, personal hygiene, appropriate TV and internet use, evening curfew and maintaining sobriety.

  • Testing for drug and alcohol use may be conducted on a regular, random and as-needed basis.

  • Evidence of drug or alcohol use is grounds for immediate dismissal.

  • The House Manager lives and works on site and the owner is on site daily.

Property Features

  • The property is located in the Western Trails neighborhood of South Austin.

  • The house is 3,000 square feet with an open floor plan, beautiful sunroom, five bedrooms and 4.5 baths.

  • The huge backyard is shaded by giant oak trees and includes a large deck, gas grill, hot tub and enough lawn to toss a football or a frisbee.

  • The fully-stocked kitchen includes a large gas cook-top, 2 ovens, 2 refrigerators and a pantry closet.

  • Additional amenities include: Google Fiber TV and internet, Maytag steam washer & dryer,

  • Residents are responsible for providing their own food but preparing meals and sitting together for meals whenever possible is part of the program.

  • The house is located one block away from Central Market Grocery Store and Cafe.

Financial Investment

  • Transitional living leads to fully independent clean living and is an investment in your life and in the lives of those closest to you.

  • The monthly cost is $895 and includes all bills, household supplies, bedding, towels and recovery services.

  • For maximum durability, Bedrock is designed as a 3 to 6 month experience.

What to Bring and Not to Bring

  • Bring: 2 weeks of clothes, up to 3 pairs of shoes, toiletries, soap, shampoo, up to 5 books, journal, pens/pencils, highlighters, 1 phone and up to 1 other electronic device, chargers and 1 week of groceries.

  • Do Not Bring: Gaming devices, any obscene, offensive or otherwise inappropriate material.
